Provide oversight to commodity checkoff programs. Ensure that board staff adheres to Department policy and /or regulations on record retention and confidentiality. Represent the USDA at board meetings, ensure program integrity, oversee officer elections as well as address and resolve other program matters. Develop written communications such as executive correspondence, industry notices, articles for internal newsletters, regulatory documents, briefing, and activity reports. Communications are developed in conjunction with SCP senior managers to further USDA, AMS, and SCP objectives.
