Introducing supervisory management and site supervision. Discovered and implemented multiple design and installation efficiencies to accelerate the programme and recover delay.

Single point of contact and sole interface for all third-party works affecting London Underground infrastructure including high profile projects such as The Shard, Olympic Park Stratford and London Bridge upgrade works. Drafted and obtained stakeholder approval for new company policies, standards and process which I rolled out to ensure compliant implementation of temporary works management across the business. These are still utilized company-wide today.

Activities included sourcing, procuring and managing sub-contractor labour suppliers. Working with complex logistical railway access availability, including planning and booking of engineering trains/cranes and road rail vehicles. Achieved full budget recovery through rail/steel recycling to outside suppliers. Contract Manager: Mechanical & Electrical Asset Maintenance ‘E&M’ (Aug ‘10 – Oct ’10) Accountable management of Tube Lines’ primary E&M contractor and their deliverables. Initiated and drove improvements with the contractor to establish efficient and cost effective asset management practices. Reviewed and improved asset maintenance lifecycles, whole life costing and developed strategies for improved management of assets. Lead Design Engineer: Piccadilly Line Control Centre (Jun ‘09 – July’10) Acting Lead Design Engineer / Project Manager at inception of project concept phase. Delivery of all survey and feasibility aspects including geotechnical, topographical and UXO surveys etc. Detailed reinforced concrete and structural steelwork design to blast loading conditions including dynamic design of elements. Junior Civil & Structural Engineer: Green Park Step Free Access Upgrade (Mar ‘09 – Jun ’09) Structural design of temporary works including hoarding and staircases for step free access works. Temporary works site inspector appointed during the construction stage. Junior Civil & Structural Engineer: Lifts, Escalators & Assessments (Sep ‘08 – Mar ’09) Inspection, structural analysis and condition assessment of escalator trusses, tunnels, bridges and earth retaining structures.
