Ms. Louth greatly contributed to my son's ability to seek help when a situation grew beyond his control and understanding. In 2nd and 3rd grades, he struggled with social interactions, making and retaining friends, and finding his place in his peer group. He was often bullied, verbally and physically, and very nearly reached a point of shutting down. Ms. Louth was extremely impactful and making him feel seen and heard and that he was not alone in his struggles. She helped create a plan where he could reach out to any of his "safe adults" at any time, and was immediately available when he needed to take that step, which solidified his confidence and security in repeating the process several more times. I am so thankful for the time and effort she put into my child to help him get through such a difficult time.
