Staci DeGagne possesses all the qualities you would hope for in a Creative and Art Director. With a colorful background in Film and Video, it is clear her eye for design and vision for story-telling is full of intent and thought of through and through. She has the unique ability to analyze challenges from every perspective and meets ever problem-solving scenario with thoughtfulness and conviction. She welcomes conversations on design freely with a strong desire to learn and always ensures that every team member is valued and heard when attacking new problems to solve. Some of her skills extend beyond her technical training, like how she communicates with her team members. Staci is deeply empathetic, a quality I find very rare in many leadership roles. I recall a time when I had a rough week at work and she felt the shift in energy. She talked to me privately about what I was experiencing and how I felt and reassured me that I am valued and can always talk to her about whatever is on my mind. Her actions uplifted my spirits and created a stronger bond between us. I believe this is what a work relationship should be like between team members and is something I wish I had experienced more throughout my career. Some of our notable works while working with her was rebranding AdRoll and creating new design and style guides for inbound and outbound use. She led the charge in this project while the company was transition into a SaaS + Media platform and created systems for the entire business unit to follow that were backed by thorough research, storytelling, and experimentation. The outcome of that was a visually impactful rebrand founded on the personification of AdRoll and wanting to share the wealth of marketing knowledge and expertise with the world. Working for several months on this projects with Staci, I don’t think there could have been a better Art Director to work with. Every step was carefully planned, tested, and reiterated and distilled into a functioning style guide that touches all part of the business. I recommend Staci for any position in the realms of Art Direction, Branding, and Video and Film. She has taught me a lot about what it means to be a Creative and even more on what it means to be an excellent team member and leader.

I have worked with Staci for the past 4 years and I can say that I haven't ever worked with an art director like her! Staci is incredibly thoughtful, creative, passionate, and communicative. She's a strategic thinker and an excellent resource to any campaign. Staci and I have worked on a ton of projects together over the years – from video case studies to the Dare to Grow customer stories project – and in each project Staci leaves a special mark. She is so talented and such a pleasure to work with. If you have the chance to work with Staci (and the amazing network of talent she brings to each job), jump on it!
