    • Database Manager
      • Mar 2019 - Dec 2020

The Database Manager oversees and manages the Church Management System database. This role is the principle project manager for database deliverables and implementing related training resources.

    • Data Support Analyst
      • Jul 2013 - Mar 2019

This is a newly created position. To start, I will do some detailed research into all of the feature of our Arena database that are being used by different departments within the church. The purpose is to manage how those are being used, how effective they are, if they are dormant or simply buidling in adequate information. This will help clean up the database over time. One of the main goals is to make the database effective for everyone on staff. I will also train new staff members on how to use the system to meet their needs. I will be the go-to electronic check-in facilitator and will work with the programmer to meet the needs of the staff. Show less

    • Nursery & Younger Children Coordinator
      • Aug 2004 - Jun 2013

Over 9 years, my exact duties changed a number of times. In the beginning, I was reponsible for all programming and recruiting for Younger Children's Sunday School (ages 2 through pre-k). After 4 years, I added the Nursery to that (birth through pre-k). With the Nursery addition, I inherited a budget to manage as well as between 30-50 paid Childcare Workers to manage. I spent much time recruiting both volunteers and paid staff. I managed the budget of over $100,000. For a time, I was responsible for both print and e-mail newsletters from within the department. Over the past few years, I became the go-to person for our online database system (Arena). We started using electronic check-in as well as relying on the database for many reports and mailings. I spent a large amount of time getting familiar with the system. That actually led me to the job I am in now. Show less
