Staci and I have worked on several cases together over the years. Staci is an impressive trial attorney who advocates for her clients better than most. She is aggressive and tenacious, and at the same time, Staci maintains a professionalism which is unmatched. While Staci and I have litigated cases against each other, we have always been able to find common ground and get the cases resolved for both of our clients' best interests. I highly recommend Staci if you need someone to represent you or your company.

I have a broad-based trial and appellate practice, with a particular focus on the representation of defendants and insurance carriers in civil litigation. My courtroom and jury trial experience are extensive, including the completion of over 60 civil jury trials to a verdict. My practice involves a variety of matters, including motor carrier liability, medical malpractice defense, products liability, premises liability, dram shop and liquor liability, bad faith and extra-contractual claims, and white collar crime. Since joining Haskell Slaughter in January 2008, I have tried a variety of jury cases to verdict, including medical malpractice; retaliatory discharge; breach of contract and insurance bad faith; and automobile liability involving both both first-party and third-party claims. I was recognized by The Alabama Jury Verdict Reporter as one of the "Most Prolific Trial Attorneys" in Alabama for 2005, 2006 and 2007.I have served as an adjunct professor at Cumberland School of Law of Samford University since 2002, teaching "Basic Skills in Trial Advocacy" to second and third year students and am a frequent speaker on litigation-related topics.Professional Affiliations:American Bar Association Alabama State Bar Birmingham Bar Association Former Member, National District Attorneys Association Former Member, Alabama District Attorneys Association
