  As a teaching assistant I worked 1:1 with a child of 4 years of age who has autism. I had to support him with his integration into school and with daily activities such as interacting with friends, phonics lessons and lunch. When he came to school he did not attend a full day, had trouble feeding himself at lunch and his speech was poor. Since working with him he has flourished. He eats lunch with no assistance, does full days at school everyday and does not stop talking! It has been an absolute pleasure to watch him grow and to see him pick up sounds in our phonics lessons which I designed for him. I am now attending university in September to gain my PGCE and I plan to become a primary school teacher next year.

  At HSBC I was a bank assistant. I learnt the ropes here (their training course is fantastic!!). I opened people's accounts, applied for credit cards and loans, dealt with general queries, all whilst upholding the highest standards and giving the best customer service.
