I write this recommendation for Stacey Oliveto for her customer service. Prior to CVS opening a branch in my hometown, my medications were obtained through its mail order service on automatic delivery. For a service that should be very straight forward, I found myself spending much time on the phone trying to straighten out and authorizing my deliveries. I was ecstatic that a CVS pharmacy had opened in town. I wanted to have my prescriptions filled where I could speak to a pharmacist directly. I called the mail order service to stop my service and to have my prescriptions transferred to my local CVS. I followed the instructions given me but was told when I went to my local CVS that the mail order service needed to make the initial notification to them. I called the service again and was told something else. Out of frustration I went back to the local CVS to explain my situation. It was late in the day and the pharmacy was busy, but the pharmacist said she would take care of it for me. Much to my surprise I received a call from Ms Oliveto much later that evening to say that she had spoken to the mail order service and that my situation was taken care of, much to my gratitude!! My career has been in state government in the field of healthcare regulation so I am familiar with the compliance pressure both from a regulatory, and corporate levels, along with the corporate demands of operating at a profit while keeping expenses down. I also know from my own experience as a state employee how demanding the public you serve, can be. I expect it was no different for Ms. Oliveto in her role running her pharmacy as its manager. Being a licensed pharmacist Ms. Oliveto has all the technical aspects of her profession through her education and knowledge gained through her training and experience. But being pleasant, patient, attentive and helpful under the pressures she is under can't always be taught. I would not hesitate to hire her, as she would be an asset for any organization she works for.
