      Since 2020 I have been teaching secondary English to Years 7-10 according to the Australian Curriculum, and I have taken on the role of Year 5 Teacher for the 2022 school year. During my time at the Islamic School of Canberra (ISC), I have also held the role of Behaviour Coordinator for Years K-10. My position has comprised of the following duties: - Developing programs and lesson plans that enrich the English Curriculum and address specific outcomes to ensure students are performing at level. - Diversifying the manner in which content is delivered according to individual learning needs and levels. - Ensuring content delivered is culturally/religiously appropriate, adjusting where required. - Working both individually and in teams to develop content, increase engagement, encouragement of appropriate behaviour, and support both personal and academic improvement of students. - Engage in professional learning. - Develop behaviour management protocols for students and engage in professional discussion with colleagues and parents/carers about behavioural issues.
