  I worked as part of a multidisciplinary team in a busy ward which has 35 beds for inpatient care,acute assessment and high dependency. The ward delivered care across the range of surgical, medical, mental health and orthopaedic specialities. The ward admits new patients directly or via A&E. The patient group was varied in age and conditions. This fast paced environment demanded strong decision making, time management and assessment skills.
