  Since April 2010, I have been a customer service advisor at the Asda chain store in Llansamlet, Swansea. This job requires me to undertake the role of serving customers through a wide variety of different points of sale. To date, I have been trained to serve customers with a high standard of customer service through a conventional checkout, the self scan lanes, and the kiosk. Each area requires a different number of tasks to be carried out in order to complete the job. As a consequence to the position I also have the duty of money handling, teamwork, and report filing. I enjoy working at Asda because it enables me to gain experience and is a good, fast-paced working environment. Show less

  I had the opportunity to part take in a two week work experience whilst I was studying at Neath Port Talbot College. I had the duty of organsing my own place for work experience and I decided upon Cardiff International Airport. Whilst working at the airport, I had the opportunity to visit a different number of departments. Whilst on placement here I spent time at the Air Traffic Control Tower, Customs and Immigration, Security, and Baggage Control.
