Includes occasional depositions on behalf of CenterPoint. • Recommends and monitors loss mitigation activities to reduce exposure. • Leads review of vendor and tenant insurance and contractual terms to ensure compliance. • Manages, tracks, and maintains all vendor and tenant insurance certificates. • Creates policies, procedures, and control assessments in response to identified risks. • Responsible for updating the company Business Continuity Plan (BCP) on an annual basis or when emerging risks develop. • Provides insurance premium breakdown and coverage summaries to tenants. • Member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and responsible to prepare for and respond to emergency situations at the best interest of the organization and our employees. • Develops and updates Emergency Action Plans (EAP) for all company office locations. • Prepare and communicates preparedness guidelines to Asset Management and tenants for risks in those regions. • Continually monitor insurance market including connecting with brokers and professionals to stay abreast of changing real estate insurance industry. • Maintains internal relationships with all departments to facilitate the understanding of risks to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
