      Respectfully prepare the deceased for viewing, including sanitisation, disinfection, dressing, restoration to areas effected by trauma, dressing and the application of makeup including hair styling. I also line coffins which include protective plastic to avoid contamination as well as attaching various side sheets to the interior of the coffin as well as secure the handles, ornaments and nameplate. Regular transfers of the deceased is daily, ranging from public and private hospitals across the metropolitan area to nursing homes and private residences with dignity and respect. Assisting on funerals themselves is another factor of my employment which includes the driving of our hearses, including their maintenance and cleaning, setting up our guests signing books, handing out memorial items, and assisting pallbearers. To add I am also responsible for setting up and collecting lowering devices from various cemeteries. Regular vehicle, building and garden maintenance are also required. Show less
