  This role consisted of me fulfilling the same responsibilities as my prior role as Junior QA with the addition of leading iOS testing ensuring the client is functional, usable and any new features have been integrated without defects. The role was initially solely manual testing however in my spare time I explored automation testing, initially starting with Android coding in Java. Once I had the environment set up and some simple sign in tests running I presented the test scripts to the test lead and it was agreed that we would introduce automation testing as part of QA. This evolved into dedicated time and working with a senior automation engineer who handled the wider environment.
