Channon Hodge
As a video producer, it's a dream to find an editor that understands how to make the visuals and the story shine rather than compete. Stacey is creative, decisive and she's a born leader who knows when to get things moving and when to be flexible enough to allow everyone's input to matter. On top of all of that, she got our team to move away from some pretty outdated planning tools and onto the latest systems. That's not easy when you're at such a legacy company like CNN. Stacey's always the first one offering ideas and you can always count on her to reignite the energy in a meeting or for a project. We need more of that kind of excitement in media these days.
Jeremy Harlan
A good editor is someone one that advocates for your ideas, provides focus guidance, and knows when to add the smallest of touches to elevate a piece from solid to great. Stacey has been all those in the times we have collaborated together at CNN. While we work on completely different platforms in completely different departments, Stacey was always receptive to my ideas and trusted that I could deliver on what I was promising. That shows a great amount of respect and trust. That's the kind of leadership motivates colleagues to do high quality work. I really appreciate her advocacy and would love to do more storytelling work with her.
Lydia D. Bowers, MILR
Working with Stacey was a dream. Despite being a remote, freelance writer I always felt like I had all the information and support I needed. Stacey was great at managing deadlines and expectations and giving clear editorial feedback that made my writing zing. If all working relationships could be this fruitful and smooth!
