Developed and tested ROS nodes for the Paroscientific pressure sensor, Weather - board, Workhorse RDI - DVL and PHINS IMU sensor. • Wrote Gazebo plugins for the pressure sensor and weather - board to simulate these sensors in gazebo. Hyderabad Area, India • Worked on the path planning of mobile robot (TurtleBot) in an indoor environment with Monocular SLAM. • Used finite state SARSA Reinforcement learning with a modification that involved the prediction of the number of features that could be tracked by the SLAM software for every possible transition from the current state. • First phase of learning Q - Value for every state - action transition pair was done in MATLAB with RRT.
