  Project Execution of Central chilled water district cooling plant of over 35,000 TR capacity in the development of New Muscat International Airport main contract-1. • Review and Comment on the Design Basis Report submitted by MEP consultant. • Study project specific references and standards, equipment schedules for air conditioning equipments. • Engineering activities like preparation of material approval submittal, vendor sources, organizing vendor meetings onward MAS submission for client approval review and incorporate consultant’s comments. • Preparation of shop drawings based on the latest Issued for construction drawings and proposed/approved material submittals interacting with drafting team. • Mechanical interfaces of the various air-conditioning equipments in relation with chiller plant control and monitoring systems, remote monitoring on SCADA, electrical requirements. • Work planning and risk assessment at work place. • Material Take offs and ordering of bulk materials. • Directing of construction activities through Site supervisors and Foremen. • Manage manpower, equipments and materials for safe and timely completion of work. • Regular monitoring of work ensuring the qualification of personnel, equipment and material. • Ensure the quality of work as per the shop drawings / design drawings, Specification, Quality Procedure and coordinate with QA/QC Engineer to advise for the areas to be raised for inspection • Reporting of any non conformance to QA/QC Engineer and to the project manager • Stage inspection and notification to CCC-TAV for Inspection with Client • Closing of non conformances issued by Client • Ensuring that tool box talks are conducted regularly by supervisors. • Commissioning of Chilled water and DX Air-conditioning system, air and water balancing mechanical interface with BMS/SCADA/fire alarm pre commissioning and commissioning checks for AHU’s Chillers Packaged Units diffuser air balancing room noise checks etc.

  Project Execution of Air-condition systems by using the following types: ▪ Window Type/Room Air Conditioning. ▪ Packaged Split/Direct Expansion (DX). ▪ Centralized Air Conditioning System (Chilled Water System). Sizing and layout in the plan of ducting and piping connection of the system to be used. Heat load calculations in tons of Refrigeration(TR) as requirement in the selection of air conditioning system to be used. Study project specific specification and description of materials and equipment to be used. Prepare cost estimate, materials,and labor in various projects supervision and site inspection. Supervision of Drafting work such as layout of air conditioning duct work, chilled water pipes, refrigerant pipes, detailed drawing of equipment foundation, support, ducts and piping installation detail, isometric and section/elevations, drawings, etc in various projects. Giving instruction and work schedule to designers, planning the work for HVAC layout, plumbing layout to complete the work schedule within the time allocated by the project manager. Review co ordination of the Mechanical drawings, checking level and location of each service, especially dimensions and sizes to avoid interference. Carry out further coordination reviews with Architectural, Structural, and Electric Sections.
