I had the pleasure of working with Sri when he was an intern on our team. Sri has demonstrated the ability to quickly pick up skills and work in new software development frameworks for front end and backend development such as React, .NET Framework, implementation of data management through databases and APIs, etc. He has also demonstrated the ability to effectively work on a product team and communicate the progress of the project, his contributions towards business-critical initiatives, and delivery of enhancements and continuous improvement of software applications. Additionally, Sri brings a refreshing energy to the work environment the team valued. He has also expressed an active interest to understand product management and business value to collaborate with the entirety of the team. He also asks critical questions to ensure that other team members are aligned on the project requirements, and he triages defects and bugs efficiently and will often reinforce his understanding of the objective of the project so that we reach the end goal towards the MVP state and future iterations of the project. He demonstrates a results focus and ambition to continuously improve his technical expertise and the ability to make decisions towards the software design and implementation. Therefore, I believe Sri will be successful on a tech team in a product or technical role going forward.

Tech Stack: C#, ASP.NET Core, React.js, OpenAI API, Microsoft Luis (NLP), Azure, Splunk, CosmosDB, Tailwind CSS, GitHub API - Worked in the Conversational Experience Team on an internal tool project to automate the recategorization process for incorrect chatbot utterance to category matchings. - Developed a full stack web application using ASP.NET Core and React that performs CRUD operations from and to the Azure database (CosmosDB) to reclassify intents, and automatically push changes to NLP Model File in GitHub. - Created server-side Azure functions to process and serialize chatbot data directly, and to update logs with OpenAI categorizations via function triggers. - The Project was deployed to production and led to a 17% reduction in agent escalation costs and dozens of hours saved monthly for QA and developers on the Conversational Experience Team. Created API Endpoints in ExpressJS using REST APIs, and used Postman to test endpoints for the dynamic team page link. Additionally used Axios to make API Requests, and pushed data of dozens of team members into a NoSQL MongoDB Database. Our Team won first place out of >10 teams in this program. Our project was constructing a mental health/meditation app geared towards stressed, socially anxious, and mentally disabled individuals among whom mental health was a root cause of poverty. We used Svelte.js and Flask for the web app's frontend and backend respectively, MongoDB to store user data, and IBM Watson's NLP Library to generate video recommendations based on user feedback and survey responses. Worked with a cloud-based integration tool named Dell Boomi and enabled integrations between various platforms and applications through APIs. In addition, I also worked with Spring Boot to create REST APIs for an in-house web application and additionally designed database tables using SQL. Database versioning was done with Liquibase.
