  We started working on project SLIDER under Retro_Devices startup in the year 2021 and are currently going on with the development of the SLIDER device. Project SLIDER is about reducing the number of road accidents happening due to drowsy driving. The device is a sleep detection device that detects the drowsiness or fatigue of the driver with an AI-enhanced detector and gives a quick intimation to the driver through an alarm or alert. Through this project, we aim to reduce the risk of fatalities, and injuries caused by drowsy driving. Show less

  I am grateful for the valuable opportunity I had to be part of such a prestigious institution and gain practical experience in the field of speech processing. I joined the Speech Processing Internship program at IIIT Hyderabad on 1st May 2023 and completed the internship on 16th June 2023. Over the course of my internship, I have got many useful insights into sound signal processing and its implementation. I have learned how to extract features from a raw sound signal that are useful for speech recognition systems.
