Analysis of Crude Oil by HTGC (High temperature Gas Chromatography), HPLC (High Performance liquid chromatography), EDXRF (Energy dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry), NIR (Near Infrared Spectroscopy). Perform Calibration, Develop new methods and maintenance of HTGC, HPLC, EDXRF, and NIR Instruments. Evaluate the performance of various chemicals on various properties of crude oil such as Pour point and Asphaltene dispersion nature, Compatibility of Crude Oils etc. Determine the natural gas composition in reservoir fluids, Normal and non-normal wax composition in Crude Oil, Carbon number distribution of the whole crude oil, Saturate, aromatics and polar content in the whole crude oil, Dielectric constant, Sulfur and other elemental composition such as Aluminum, Silicon, Vanadium, Iron, Nickel, Zinc etc. Perform Near infrared Spectroscopy measurements on whole crude oil to determine the Asphaltene deposition and Wax Deposition at various temperatures and pressures. Prepare standards and other chemical blends as required in the laboratory. Experience operating ISCO pumps. Train lab technicians and review lab data.

My area of research is “Preparation, Characterization and Conductivity of Polyaniline”. The major aspect of my research is to synthesize the polymer and characterize it with different sophisticated instruments like FTIR (Fourier transform infrared microscopy), Uv-visible spectrometer, Keithley 2400 conductivity instrument, etc. To improve the polymers conductivity by using different dopant acids.
