Through my three years spent at 90.3 WRST-FM Oshkosh, Spencer was a joy to work with. He treated everyone with respect and always made sure he got the job done correctly - the very first time. He is a hard worker, pays close attention to detail and he came to work everyday with the same attitude. I highly recommend Mr. Wagen for any potential job. You won't be disappointed..

I don't know if I've ever worked with someone in any industry who works as hard as Spencer Wagen does. Quite frankly, radio is in Spencer's blood, and he was born with the proper talents to take any number of radio stations over the top and turn them into giants. Spencer takes his job more seriously than anyone I've ever known, and he doesn't know the meaning of a "40 hour work week." He comes in early and stays late until the job is done, sometimes when the job isn't even his to do. Whenever WRST needed someone to step up Spencer always took a step forward when seemingly everyone else took a step back. He relishes opportunity and responsibility, and it's never enough to just do the job for him. He always has to do a great job. Spencer understands that the station is a reflection of him and vice versa. Anyone who is fortunate enough to acquire his services will have made one of the best decisions they will ever make in the career. Spencer is more than a consummate professional. He is an elite radio talent, producer and manager of employees. I don't want it to seem like I'm just using hyperbole here. I'm sure there are better workers out there, but you can count how many of them there are on one hand.

My duties at KFIZ also included work in news reporting and anchoring, plus in sports play-by-play and content management for both news and sports. I created and shared content daily on our website and station social media accounts, and managed those accounts for comments and responses from listeners and members of the community. Show less
