ORDER TRACKING - Take full responsibility from the order received till the goods shipped. - Analyze the order upon receipt together with senior merchandiser. - Work actively with the samples together with technician. - Prepare and send samples to suppliers or HQ. - Work actively with risk assessment on sample quality tests and communicate with suppliers. - Keep track of suppliers production plan to ensure on time delivery. - Keep close contact with the suppliers to know status of orders at all times - Be proactive and initiatives to solve problems in the production. Diagnose production problems and work with suppliers to present viable alternatives to both buyers and local manager. - Secure deadlines to ensure on time delivery. SOURCING - Source fashion accessory products to catch early trend. - Development samples process. Sample Development: To identify, develop and monitor sample production to meet product manager and buyers’ requirements COSTING - Negotiation of price, payment terms, deliveries etc. COMMUNICATION - Create a good dialogue with buyers and assistant buyers in HQ. Understand their needs and act accordingly. - Prepare & participate together with the senior merchandiser to the development & negotiation meetings with buyers etc. - Work and strengthen cooperation with Quality and Technician teams/suppliers to ensure bulk products meet specification/quality standard, negotiate claims etc. REPORTING - Prepare & follow bench marking program. - Update daily ” production status”.
