Spencer is a great leader, knowing when to delegate and to let people run with what they do best. He brings positivity and calmness as a team leader. Spencer has a great vision for taking the South African Sommeliers Association into the future and he is so passionate about increasing certified sommeliers in South Africa for the greater growth of the hospitality industry. Being a leader is also about being a good problem solver, and Spencer is amazing about weighing all options and figuring the best course of action. This carries over to conflict resolution. Spencer and I have worked on many projects with large teams of different personalities and Spencer can calm even the most ruffled feather.

When I started working with Spencer, I knew nothing about wine and wine pairing. He has inspired me to delve deeper into the fascinating world of great food and wine, and it has added so much meaning to my life. His appreciation for wine is infectious.
