Spencer is a driven sales professional who cares about his customers. He genuinely wanted to improve their well-being and that comes across in the way he sells. As a leader, Spencer worked hard to not only be successful himself but to ensure that everyone under him was successful as well. When a team member would be struggling Spencer would use a variety of approaches to help them. During my first summer selling for Aptive, I was in a sales slump and spiraling downward. Spencer had me shadow him for a whole day, but instead of focusing solely on work and "showing me how it's done" during that time he just talked to me. His attention to me helped me get better emotionally and I was able to go on and be successful when I was on the verge of giving up at the time. Spencer is a great people person and I truly believe he can establish a connection with anyone. He is very confident, but not to the point that he won't admit when he doesn't know something. Spencer is also the living embodiment of someone who wants to continuously "sharpen the saw"(improve). He was always trying to improve as a leader and a salesman. Spencer will contribute to the success of any team he is on.
