National Cyber Forensic Lab (NCFL) is a part of Union Home Ministry’s Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre and CyPAD is a Delhi Police Crime unit. I had the pleasure of working alongside people from the Technology Department to try and learn about new forms of forensic technology and methods used for acquisition and analysis of devices to recover the digital evidence of investigating interest at the crime scene. Garnered hands on experience in cyber security as follows- • Performed VAPT on mobile and web applications. • Worked on various cyber forensics tools used to retrieving evidences. • Gained knowledge about conducting raids and seizing evidences. • Worked on security analysis of the softwares used by the organization. • Gained knowledge about standard operating procedure with respect to various cyber-crimes.
