- Responsible for handling Process Simulation (Moldflow) projects for internal and external customers. - To perform Fill & Cool+Warp analysis and give best possible solution for injection molding process. - Troubleshooting for molding defects like warpage, weldlines, high shrinkage, short filling, etc. by using Moldflow Analysis - Involvement in early design stage of product development cycle and support till product launch using Moldflow Analysis. - Arranging discussions with product teams, development engineers and tooling teams for better understanding the requirements of the product, & smooth progress of the work. - Implement the digital simulation models; realize the iterative calculations in line with the technical solutions selected and the development of tooling. - Define the sub-systems; specify the environment constraints and the limits or possibilities of simulation considering the required criteria’s. - To give suggestions for possible Material, Process, and Design Change solutions for better quality of product. - Co-relation of physical components with moldflow analysis results. Capitalize the experience of each program; establish the correlation methodology between the results from simulation and actual production. - Attending trials for part production during necessary stage of modification or at initial level for new molds. - Responsible for engineering deliverable like analysis of results and data, making of tooling reports and presentations. - Handle resource planning to maintain on time delivery schedule, planning forecast, RFQ’s and communication with respective customers. - Maintaining quality documents like checklists, planning sheets, various quality indicators etc. Show less
