EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS Administrative support: - policy of development of the library and coordinate the activities of library team members to completely outline scenarios considering personnel, work stations, office space and user space, as a prelude to architectural design - assured the selection, acquisition, organization, conservation and dissemination of library resources - administrated budgets of approximately $ 100,000 - managed public relations (Romanian and French officials) - organized and performed cultural activities - responsible for first library itinerant module, the "Bibliomobile". ------- Cultural & educational management: - conceived cultural activities and programs - creative workshops for children and students - contests of literary creations - exhibitions of multimedia materials - artistic activities : recitals of poetry, music for children, marionettes shows - provided orientation tours for new students and foreign visitors - created brochures to advertise the activities of the library as well as of the French Cultural Centre of Timisoara - developed alliances by working with the extensive contact in the book industry - represented the diplomatic staff of the institution on official meetings and within communications with the French Embassy and the Foreign Affairs French Ministry - completed monthly, semesterly reports and yearly activity plans for the French Embassy and for the Foreign Affairs French Ministry - provided and managed translation and interpreter services - created the first web site of the French Cultural Center of Timișoara : inaugurated on March 22, 2000; -selected and organized the training for implementing the program BCDI 2 Special Internet for the libraries of the French Cultural Centers of Timișoara, Cluj and Iasi; -participated at the French online multimedia catalogue, inaugurated in April 2000.
