Georgie Deyell

I have two businesses, G.Deyell and Associates being a Human Resource Consultancey and Mountain Gum Chalet which is a ski chalet located in the Victorian Alpine region. Sophie assisted in providing marketing and business analytics. She is extremely diligent, constantly open to helping others, and 100% dependable. She is also the resident expert on the technical side of analytics tools and platforms. She has the highest confidence and respect from me. Sophie is a superstar and provides immediate value in any environment. It was and is a pleasure to work with Sophie. She is a genuinely lovely person to work with; dependable, reliable, smart, helpful and generous with her time. Sophie actively shares her analytics insights and knowledge and consistently delivers work that is beyond expectations. She is a brilliant team player and anyone would be lucky to have Sophie in their corner.

Matt Gibson

Sophie is a very dedicated, thoughtful and creative marketing manager. She has shown her strengths in being persistent in getting projects to completion, and has created a real capability in design that is used throughout the organisation.

Existing services cannot meet the demand for crisis accommodation for women who are homeless. More than one in two women across Australia who seek a bed in a crisis shelter are turned away every night, mostly due to a lack of space. And these are just the ones who find out they can ask for a safe place to go. Women’s Community Shelters works with communities to establish new shelters, which provide short-term emergency accommodation and support in a safe environment that enables homeless women to rebuild self-esteem and achieve control and fulfillment of their lives.

Indigenous Reading Project works to improve the reading ability of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children through an E- Literacy program. The children who want to improve their reading skills and are behind their peers are targeted. These children borrow a tablet that they use. Their progress is monitored over time and if they significantly improve their reading ability they get to keep the tablet. Want to make a difference to the lives of some incredibly motivated kids, then please go to www.irp.org.au.
