I lead, develop and maintain high quality SEN provision across the primary academy in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice, which enables quality teaching and excellent learning outcomes for all pupils. I model effective teaching, to coach and train colleagues and to teach across the school. I keep all aspects of paperwork including records and policies, up-to-date, to contribute to the development of whole academy policy wherever appropriate.

In this role I worked as class teacher across the key stages. In September 2018, I also became the assistant SENCo. Throughout my career, I have adapted my teaching to a wide range of children with varying abilities and needs. I am passionate about fully inclusive education and aim to inspire and successfully guide all children in their learning and social development.
