The Sonar Diplomacy has a strong online presence, where we post interviews with diplomats, official ambassadors and professionals as well as information about international relations, politics and diplomacy. - In a competitieve selection process, I was chosen as one of the 5 students from Ireland to take part in this incredible programme organised by McKinsey in London. - Over the two days in Wellington College, I participated in an array of activities from team building excercises to problem solving workshops. IBEC communicates the Irish business voice to key stakeholders at home and abroad with connections across the globe. During my internship I worked the the Policy and Public Affairs department, where I: - prepared concise and clear summaries of large political and economic reports - represented IBEC at events such as the Small Firms Association annual conference - analysis and reporting for the policy team. I worked as an intern in the European Commission Representation in Ireland in the political, communication, administration and press sections. During this internship I researched current affairs and wrote detailed reports for the political section, delivered presentations to visiting schools and groups on the role and work of the EU, assisted with the social media accounts, helped organize events and represented the Commission at the opening ceremony of Trinity College Model United Nations.
