My principal role was to serve customers at the newsagents’ tills in a friendly manner and to assist customers with any queries they may have. My duties included making ice creams, stocking cigarettes and alcohol, stocking minerals and snack stands in the newsagents section, retrieving scratch cards and leap cards from the store safe, tidying the stockroom, and replenishing our tills with money throughout the day.
