Sophie Joanne, a Dutch fine jewelry brand operating to a more sustainable model of creation and production, launches the first collection positioned at the intersection of modern art, craftsmanship and feminine energy. Founded by designer Sophie Joanne, Bloemenkunst is an ode to flowers and their symbolism in modern art. Sophie started her design quest by researching various artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe, Hilma af Klint, Andy Warhol and Karl Blossfelt, their use of color and shapes were highly inspiring to her. She was intrigued by the symbolism of certain flowers in their work, which all made their way into her designs. Each gemstone used is carefully selected for their energetic powers, to perfectly merge with the design. After years of designing collection after collection for fashion brands, Sophie felt it was important to create something that wouldn’t disappear after just one season. For this reason, Sophie Joanne’s collection is a journey in which occasionally new designs are added to the existing family. Show less
