Fundraising Coordinator at FEAST FEAST is dedicated to eradicating food poverty across London and ensuring adequate nutrition is available for all. Our three main aims at FEAST are to prevent malnutrition, minimise food waste and encourage community cohesion. Since 2015, FEAST has been deploying volunteers and facilitators to cook nutritious meals with vulnerable adults in various community centres and hostels across London. To cook these meals, FEAST sources food from a range of food suppliers and distributors who donate their surplus food to FEAST. Before COVID-19, these meals were cooked and eaten together as a community between volunteers and vulnerable adults. Now, we have temporarily paused community meals and adapted our services to facilitate socially-distanced food preparation and the direct delivery of food parcels to vulnerable and homeless adults. Main responsibilities: - Write high quality and detailed bids to trusts and foundations, including budget information- Research and develop new income generation opportunities, including from trusts, foundations and other donor pools. - Develop and implement major donors and corporate strategy, including CSR. - Meet with potential donors, help cultivate and secure a portfolio of long-term donors for FEAST! - Help raise funds for our three fundraising campaigns: Dream Team (Salary), Action Against Malnutrition (Research and Development), and Our KITchen (unrestricted miscellaneous capital).
