  One of 30 writers commissioned to write a poem celebrating Universal Human Rights for the campaign – #HumansOfCov – launched by the City of Culture Trust to mark the 70th anniversary of the UN Declaration of Human Rights. I wrote my piece about Freedom of Movement and produced a short film which will be screened and performed across the region, to spark discussion about our human rights.   I devised and delivered a series of interactive workshops for a school Shakespeare week, creating bespoke sessions for KS1 and KS2 children. The workshops were designed to support the creative curriculum and involved age-appropriate text work, video, music, performance, art and outdoor learning. The sessions were very well received by children and staff and I am looking to develop and scale up the workshops across a number of schools.
