  Having decided to completely challenge myself for my placement year, I found myself in an international (although primarily Spanish speaking school) located just outside Barcelona. The role involved teaching English to large classes, helping smaller groups of more challenged kids, as well as one on one tutor classes. Responsibilities extended to outside the classroom as well; playground duty, attending camps and organising individual needs for each child. A huge plus which came with taking a placement abroad was my language development, although not fluent in Spanish my skills undoubtedly improved. Show less
