  Living by the ocean my whole life and witnessing first-hand the importance of the service provided by the RNLI inspired me to join the charity as a F2F fundraiser in West Cornwall in 2011. My confidence and natural ability for sales, plus my passion for the charity helped me to achieve the highest results of any F2F fundraiser for that year and the next, raising a forecasted £250,000 for the charity. My continued enthusiasm and passion for the job grew when I became a senior fundraiser in 2013 until the end of 2016. This opportunity pushed me to gain new skill sets and offer my experience and innovative ideas to new and existing fundraisers through training and motivational talks, while at the same time developing skills in administration, people managing, networking and data analysis. I strive to lead by example and like to set personal high standards that I encourage the people I lead to follow.
