Project Ferociously Awesome Balloons (F.A.B.) Glasgow Team Member Aug. 2015 - Aug. 2017 Project F.A.B. was a student-run science outreach program funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council and Helia Photonics Ltd, supported by the University of Glasgow. The team developed and launched high altitude balloons to capture scientific data with the aim of encouraging young people to engage with science. Helped to design and structure creative and interactive lesson plans for primary school children. Carried out administrative tasks - including the research and purchase of scientific instruments, and was involved in the design and planning of experiments. Improved programming skills through programming an Arduino as a temperature sensor and developed and created other equipment to collect scientific data.
