Oversight of both Barnet Health Champions and Volunteering Barnet. The Barnet Health Champions are a group of 280+ volunteers who are passionate about the health and wellbeing of their community. The project was set up in 2020 as a direct response to the pandemic and I have been involved since the creation. This project also includes coordination of a grant programme of which 11 local organisations received funding to improve the uptake of the COVID-19 vaccination in their specific communities.Volunteering Barnet is the borough's accredited volunteer centre, aiming to inspire those who live, work or study in Barnet to volunteer in roles offered by the VCFSE sector. It sits within the Barnet Together Partnership, alongside Young Barnet Foundation and Inclusion Barnet.
