  During my time as an intern, I work alongside the pro-bono team of Southeast Ohio, helping people in need who cannot afford their own legal assistance with issues such as criminal record expungements, discrimination cases, testamentary, eviction, and other housing related issues. I conduct client intakes and callbacks, currently having spoken with over 150 Ohio residents about their legal issues and record the relevant information into an online database. I also and update case law, most recently for the Mobile Homes Manual of Ohio, for attorneys to reference during cases.

  As a medical assistant for Dr. Jennifer Kish at Seriously Skin located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. We see around 25-30 patients a day, doing small procedure that takes around 10 minutes, or larger ones that take upwards of an hour. The main focus of the facility is cosmetic and laser medicine and offers a variety of services, anything from toxin injections to tattoo removal. I assist the doctor with all procedures by prepping the clients beforehand, numbing them for procedures, preparing the proper equipment, and aiding her with anything she needs while in the appointment.

  I made sure the patrons at the pool remained safe, and upheld the community standards in the rec center. I supervised both an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a water slide and other equipment in the pool. I also instructed swim classes for children around the ages of 6, aside from a few adults, on a weekly basis.
