  As an office assistant, I help the head of payroll and HR representative complete tasks and ensure confidential or important files remain organized. I record and ensure earned meal cards are properly used, file dining hall records, and create employee files. I assist in planning seasonal decor schemes to feed into holiday festivities and appeal to our students. I assist in training new employees and manage three workstations.   Glendale is an urban sector of Los Angeles county, and as a result, my location is highly frequented by people from all walks of life. I am capable of communicating with customers that speak little to no English, as well as those intoxicated or impaired. I learned to make all people feel welcomed and valued.
