  Throughout spending a week at Roche pharmaceuticals, in ranging departments, from early and late stage drug development to operations, fundamental skills of networking and interacting with people in their chosen fields were made and an overall understanding of how large pharmaceutical companies are structured. I found it fascinating to speak to people in a range of diverse roles, showing me the breadth of work that large pharmaceutical companies are involved in.   During sixth form, I partook in the Young Enterprise competition as Financial Director among other peers to create a company and product, selling bespoke cookbooks that were niche to the area and contained recipes from renowned local restaurants. As a team we devised and published two cookbooks that incorporated profiles about local chefs, restaurants and an exclusive recipe to their favourite dish, reaching National level.
