I worked directly with Sophia as a senior producer at Runic Games for a period of about six months. As a new producer jumping into the middle of a chaotic project, Sophia welcomed my perspective and expertise, and went out of her way to make me feel supported both as a colleague and as a Seattle transplant. This is a theme for Sophia, as she consistently went out of her way to make sure that other members of the team - from level designers and artists, to QA and sound design - were properly supported. Sophia thrived as the party's "healer" and took the less glamorous tasks in the name of being a good team mate. Sophia cares that tools are well maintained, that colleagues are heard, and that bugs are fixed. She is thoughtful in the resolution of conflict, and is otherwise easy to work with. I wish I had an opportunity to work with her longer, and would welcome any future opportunities to work with her again!

Sophia is a smart, dedicated game developer who cares deeply about the quality of her work. She collaborates freely and effectively with great results, and is a pleasure to work with. When Sophia integrated audio middleware into our codebase, her focus and drive in setting high standards for stability and efficiency in her code was impressive; it empowered me and our colleagues and directly resulted in a better game. I strongly recommend her and hope I will be able to work with her again in the future.
