While working together as a team to facilitate class discussion ranging from academic topics to social topics. FYE Mentors also continue to be a resource and reliable support to first-year students and the duration they attend Merrimack. This is a seasonal job where I work at a boathouse in the summers. Worked alongside other staff members to provide guests renting boats an enjoyable experience. As a Learn to Skate Instructor I started out as a helper coach and was soon promoted to teaching my own class of 10 kids. These classes taught kids the basics of skating. Each week, I was responsible for creating different plans that followed the skating curriculum and testing them so they can advance in levels. I was also responsible for setting up the different materials needed for Learn to Skate.
