Working with San Diego County Department of Environmental Health to implement all the specs for an at home kitchen. Soon-Gill's Kitchen has been to the Cardiff Farmer's Market, On a Roll Deli, Iron Fist, Belching Beaver, Aztec Brewery and more. Taught 1st to 6th graders English as a Second Language. Class included both full classroom and a small group setting. Connected to the children and their parents via letters, phone calls and visits to their home. Taught Language Arts, Mathematics, History, Art and Science according to the Texas Curriculum preparing children for the ITBS (Iowa Test of Basic Skills). The children also got to experience baking bread, field trips to a local grocery store, and trips on our sail boat. Each child deserves an experience outside of their immediate world.
