Bio
Scott M. Shea
I had the pleasure of working with Sonja at Lantz-Boggio Architects for several years. She worked with my team on several occasions preparing construction documentation. Sonja was extremely skilled, completing work quickly and accurately. Furthermore, Sonja always came to me with questions, pointing out uncoordinated portions of the drawings, and proposing solutions to problems. Also, I know of her continuing efforts to refine her already considerable skills, learn new techniques, and improve the quality and range of documentation services she can offer. Project managers were always eager to have Sonja join their teams at crunch times because of these qualities. In addition to her professional skills, Sonja was always a pleasure to work with and talk to, and her presence on the team always made work easier. I would highly recommend Sonja for any architectural team.

I met Sonja in 1995 at the University of Colorado at Boulder while enrolled in the Architecture and Planning program where I was later hired to manage the college’s model making facility. Throughout her studies I had a unique opportunity to watch Sonja’s work develop from semester to semester where I personally assisted her and much of the student body with building architectural models. I remember Sonja’s approach to her work as focused, analytical, and precisely executed with periodic moments of reflection. She always came in with plan and ready to get the job done, but unlike many of the other students I worked with, her confidence was warranted, given the strength of her research and true ability to collaborate with others throughout the design process. In short Sonja’s personality is engaging and straightforward at all times and her reliability is unquestionable.
