Sonja Zivic was an incredible leader to work for. Her accuracy and attention to detail is impeccable. Her teams were always top-performing, and are consistently surpassing goals they set for themselves. Her excellent performance isn't what makes her such an influential and inspiring leader though. Sonja cares about her team, and while on her team. Sonja created an environment that made you feel special to be a part of it. I felt intrinsically motivated to constantly do more and be better, not because it was my job, but because I knew I was a part of something really great, and I didn't want to let down this amazing group of individuals. She has the ability to coach and correct without making the conversation a negative experience, she values feedback, and she is always thinking of new and creative ways to drive results. I have had many great leaders in my career, and can genuinely say, I miss working on Sonja's team most of all. She has the Midas touch. It has been years since working on Sonja's team, but the things she taught me have been the keystone that has made my career development possible. She has been a mentor, friend, and truly great boss. I feel very lucky to have gotten the chance to work with her.
