  Became a Detective with the Lancaster City Bureau of Police in December of 1997 and initially worked various crimes until 2000 and then specialized in Special Investigations/Sexual Abuse Investigations. Have worked numerous Homicide, Aggravated Assault and Child Abuse Investigations. Won Detective of the Year for Lancaster County in 2013. Have attended numerous trainings on Interview and Interrogation, Child Sexual Exploitation and Physical Abuse Investigations and also attended Forensic Interviewing Training. In January of 2007 promoted to Sergeant of the Special Investigations Unit.

  Hired by Lancaster City Bureau of Police in May of 1991. I worked as a patrol officer for four years and transferred to (at that time) a Community Policing Unit, primarily patrolling on bicycle. I was also a member of the Drug Suppression Unit for three years targeting street level drug activity and quality of life issues. I am a current member of Lancaster City Bureau of Police Mounted Patrol Unit, assigned as a Field Rider and was promoted to Sergeant of the Special Investigations Unit within the Criminal Investigative Division in January of 2007.
