I am happy to recommend Sonja as she is an impeccable leader who is efficient in managing time, coordinating large groups and programs which attract 100s. She is detail-oriented and a strong leader capable of delegating and rolling up her sleeves to reinforce the cohesiveness of her team. It is my pleasure to have been witness to her exemplary work ethic.

My primary focus is on the women, children, and men who have been victims of Domestic Violence which is now #1 in the nation that is involved with murder. I am presently in training by going to court and hearing the clients case evaluated by the Judge and the sentencing. Volunteered with the Sheriff's Department office in their Victims Advocacy personnel. Have held a workshop entitled "Hurt People Hurt People". Which explains unresolved hurts that people carry, and sometimes lash out to other people unknowingly or knowingly hurt the people that they care the most about. Planning to do other workshops . Became familiar with my surroundings and introduced myself through referrals of friends in the church with: Major Ravenell of the Sheriff office. He advised that he would assist me in checking the background of my personnel, the Acting Executive of the Boys and Girls Club, who advised that she would allow me to use an office at their center, met Mr. Aburime, instructor at South Carolina State College, who passed away two years ago, who advised that he would assist me in writing grants, and Mr. Flood, Administrator of the Veterans Department who enlisted me to help with to find funding for veterans for housing. Additionally I met with Dr. Hill who advised that I could use his company's name as a reference and partner in my business endeavors in Orangeburg. I also had the pleasure to meet with Mrs. Furtick of CASA who advised that she would help in any way possible in order for me to set up a home for transient clients, and the CEO of Compassion in Action, Mrs. Jodi Bates, and Toys for Tots, Inc. offered their services as well. I was very delighted to meet with Ronda Bamberg of the Sheriff's office for the Victim Advocates who wrote a letter of reference for WOVEN, Inc. also, Mr. Bamberg, Director at the detention center approved us to bring fruit baskets, and under clothing, socks, and toys for the inmates children in their name at Christmas, and the Coordinator of Longwood Plantation nursing home in which we bought lotion, perfume, cologne, and a gift for the Altzheimers patients who had no family support. WOVEN, Inc. has also housed (5) five women with children until they were able to get on their feet. One of them were housed in the hotel for (4) days with the assistance of Tom Brown of the Sheriff office in the Victim Advocate department. Enlisted Toys for Tots for the toys & Life Cathedral Ministries for the fruit baskets and clothes for these endeavors. God gets all of the glory!

Worked with the inmates who were being held for Non-child Support. Held meetings discussing a business that they would like to see flourish into a financially secure establishment, and job placement. Wrote Grants and Proposals for submission to the Department of Justice office that will enhance and lend assistance to the group that I'm endeavoring to help.
