  Currently, I am associated with a Pilot Project under State Transformation Program - Project-Based Learning, Program of International Student Assessment (PBL PISA) in Rajasthan, Jhunjhunu. Then UPA government had boycotted PISA, blaming "out of context" questions for India's dismal performance. The government wants India to participate this time as well. They lack PISA and Global competencies like Reading, Science, Math, and the capacity to examine local, global and intercultural issues, to understand and appreciate the perspectives and world views of others. I work with 10 schools, 10 PEEOS, 80 teachers, and 900 students from Classes 6 to 8 in the district to impart PISA and Global Competencies based trainings. Show less
