  Soma interest in engineering was fostered at a young age – three of his immediate family are engineers so he feels it was inevitable he follow the same path. His 30 years in engineering and construction are built on a solid foundation of qualifications and experience harking back to those early days. Soma has worked with some of the biggest Tier-1 builders in Australia and attributes his success on projects to his solid civil and structural background and respected University education. Soma prides himself on getting his projects completed ahead of schedule and maintaining excellent relationships with everyone in the team. He worked on a project at The Australian Defence Force Academy while continuing his postgraduate study and is also very proud of his involvement in landmark projects such as the M5 Tunnel. Soma has enjoyed very much the opportunity to deliver projects with Rapid for the University of Sydney in the past and cites the Physics Building lift shaft as one of the most challenging and rewarding. Some admires Government House Canberra and the University of Sydney Great Hall as examples of Australia’s significant architectural heritage and he enjoys a great sense of pride in seeing a new build add value and satisfaction for his clients.
